At Hickinbotham, we believe that great wine begins in the vineyard. Under the guidance of winemaker James Janda, our wines are grown, made, and bottled onsite, ensuring quality at every step. Our commitment extends beyond wine; in 2006, Jake Hickinbotham established the Hix Microbrewery, producing award-winning beers like Pilsener, Pale Ale, Brown Ale, and Irish Stout.


Get to Know Us
Established in 1988 by Andrew and Terryn Hickinbotham, our estate sits atop Manna Gum woodlands, offering panoramic views of Dromana and Martha Bay. Andrew, representing the third generation of a winemaking family dating back to 1936, planted 22 vineyards on the Mornington Peninsula, pioneering the cultivation of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the region.
